The Sundance Ward Youth Invite you to participate in a U.S. Flag Posting Program! This is a way for youth from our neighborhood to earn the money needed for summer camp activities. For a small donation of $40, they will post an attractive, 3’x5’ US flag in your front yard early in the morning on five patriotic holidays.
SCHEDULE /
· Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
· Flag Day - June 14th
· Independence Day - July 4th
· Patriots Day - September 11th
· Veteran’s Day - November 11th
ABOUT THE FLAG POSTING /
An attractive, 3’x5’ US flag in your front yard early in the morning on five patriotic holidays (weather permitting). That evening before sundown, they will return to retrieve the flag. The Flag Posting Program is a wonderful way to show your patriotism while helping young men and women from our own neighborhood! Youth will be happy to visit your home to discuss details and enroll you in this outstanding program. Please email sundanceflagprogram@gmail.com if you would like additional information.
WHO WE ARE /
The Sundance Ward is a congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that includes families from the Sundance, Burney Glen and Solitude Place subdivisions. The youth group involved in this flag posting program includes close to 100 young men and young women in the neighborhood between the ages of 11 and 18. Funds collected from this program are used to help offset the some of costs of summer camps and gear for these youth and their families.
